Förra veckan så skrev Gabriel om ryktet att en PlayStation 3 med en hårddisk på 250 gigabyte skulle släppas nu i oktober, och idag har Sony gått ut med ett pressmeddelande att detta stämmer.

Nästa torsdag, alltså den 1 oktober 2009, släpps en 250 GB PS3 Slim i butikerna här i Sverige. Vi vet inga priser än, mn det ska släppas paket med både FIFA 10 och Need for Speed: SHIFT.

Vi hoppas att det hela går på under 4000 kronor i alla fall, men får återkomma om det inom kort om vi får in mer information.

Sony Computer Entertainment Announces 250GB PlayStation®3 Bundles to launch in Sweden
Stockholm, 090924: Sony Computer Entertainment today announced a line-up of PlayStation®3 (PS3™) bundles for the holiday season, consisting of a PS3 with a 250GB hard disc drive and one of a selection of software and content, including FIFA10 and Need For Speed: Shift. The bundles will be available throughout retail in Sweden from 1st of October 2009.

Following the great success of the new, smaller, 120GB PS3, which sold over 1m units in its first three weeks on sale, the 250GB model has the same hardware specifications as the current model, but with greater storage space, to offer consumers even more choice. The 250GB PS3, with its larger storage capacity, will allow owners to take full advantage of the incredible software line-up and the many multimedia functions available on PS3, whether that is storing and viewing your family photographs, listening to your entire music collection in crisp quality, or watching your favourite home videos or TV shows.

More storage allows you to download more of the latest games and add-ons from PlayStation®Store, as well as movies in both HD and SD from the PlayStation®Network video delivery service when it launches later this year, without worrying about running out of space.

Fin försäljning av slim där… frågan är hur många som är nya kunder och hur många som uppgraderar.

Fast tänker man på det viset så borde man dra ned försäljningssiffrorna rejält för Xbox360 pga alla rdod drabbade som plockar upp en ny.

Nu hoppas jag bara att vi får se priser mellan 3.000-3.500SEK för några sköna bundles inför jul.
